AH, understood. Gary can be an angry deity. :) I should have guessed... "real" musicians would never waste time polishing
    Ovations. ;)

    I imagine they'd use Armour All. ;>

For Ovations, 92 Octane gasoline works better. Allow it to soak for at least 15 minutes, then check the finish closely with a blowtorch.

I'm thinking turtle wax. It gets rid of all those nasty tire smudges it picks up on it's day gig as a speed bump at Wallmart.

Only mentioning "that" guitar brand in this echo is really
tantamount to waving a red flag in front of a bull. Or is that the
other way around? Either way it's flame fodder... break out the marshmallows! <g>

I don't post as often as I'd like, but I've visited here for a few years. That's why I know Ovations can be purchased from your local Tupperware rep. ;>

BSEG!!! I was thinking about you the other day. I saw a blurb on the tube about
roadies for Aeorosmith. It sounded almost like a traveling circus. They had their guitar tech going through a wheeled cabinet with about a dozen guitars in
it tweaking this and changing that for the sixth time that week...

I heard that folks wanting to buy an Ovation walk into the music store
and start squeeling like pigs... (to the muzak of Dueling Banjos)

    Dang... Ovation bashing *is* fun!

Armour all is better, it even takes the scratches off the face of my cheapo LCD
watch. Turtle wax would just just make the Ovation look cheap and tacky... (EG)

I think that kid who did the dueling in "Deliverance" owns the company. ;>
