I just set this sub up on my new bbs but no messages yet. Perhaps I can start a thread here. I am shopping for a tube amp between 5 - 15 watts. I am interested in hand wired preferably but open to recommendations. Does anyone have experience in this area?

... A mind is a terrible thing to ugh... I forgot...

Hellow Paul - very well this morning and nice to see echos working like they should! This reminds me of the 'good ole days.' :-)

Yep sure does. So there's a guitar sale in town at the moment, sing out if
you want me to scope out some prices for you although the postage would be a killer! :)

No not yet but there is a reissue of Supro amps that caught my attention, particularly the Supro 1624T Dual-Tone. These amps were used by Jimmy Page a lot on the first two Led Zep albums and they are simply delightful. Just plug in, turn the amp up and turn your guitar volume down. At a low level you get bell like clarity and then you roll up the volume to get it to break up. Much like Vox. Take a look at a few Youtube videos and you will see what I mean.
