    Hello all!

Where are all the guitar players?

I still love my Stratocaster, but I really need a Telecaster badly. A friend of
mine has one, and the trebley pitch and fast action fret board just made me want to play for hours. They're not very expensive either. I may request one, from my fair lady, for the holidays/birthday/anniversary which all fall less than 30 days apart.

Will someone write back that owns a Telecaster? How do they fit your needs over the years. Are they versatile?

    Thanks.

    Smile for the Cameras,
    Joe

My 3 year old son plays the guitar. He will be 4 April first. He is already on his second guitar. He plays acoustic. He also plays drums and keyboard and sings.

You forgot to mention that he writes his own songs as well... but back then maybe he wasn't doing that yet...

I believe you're right. But it's still worth mentioning (even now, months later).

I'm not sure what happened to everyone. I think over the years since the internet has taken over. FidoNet has taken the back seat. Anyway, As for the Telecaster, That seems to be a guitar that doesn't get a lot of recognition. I have played a few. Never owned one. But I can tell you that I like the interesting clean tones it produces. Probably the cleanest sounding guitar I have played. I like the sounds that Alex Lifeson from Rush used to get out of them in the past. I saw them live in concert years ago and he played one on "Tom Sawyer" Very impressive.

THIs used to be a very active echo back in the day. Gary gilmore, a bunch of guys.

Yah and that was one of the old ones.

A friend of mine bought a Tele back in the late '80's that actually had humbuckers for pickups. SOunded like a Paul without the weight. I liked the original tele better, but it was nice to have that on one's sound pallet without the weight of those heav
