    Too true. There are even a number of books on the market devoted
    to the cover art on the 12" vinyl record. I wonder if the same kind
    of recognition will ever be accorded to CD art work? Hmmmm....

    You can't tell me you never sat there staring at an album cover
    while listening to the album. I can remember tripping while
    staring at King Crimson's "Court Of The Crimson King" album.

    Yep. Not that particular album, but I've definitely been there.
    <grin> I've also bought a number of albums, sound unheard, purely
    for the cover. I doubt whether I'd ever do the same for a CD.
