I think I posted before about this, at least in the D'Bridge echo,
that there is a Sourceforge project porting the NTVDM subsystem of
32-bit Windows, over to 64-bit. The NTVDM system is the DOS-emulator
portion of Windows.

Ahh.. but that's not the same experience. vDOS is nagware and
requires registration to run uninterrupted by a pop-up every 3 hours.

I use vDOS for multiple applications and I have never gotten any pop-ups
nor request for registration. I will admit that the applications I use
it for do not run that long -- is that what you mean, 3 hours continous
running?

It has this on the "Register?" page:
"vDos is freeware for most. It will however check if the PC is joined
to a domain, or files on a network drive are accessed. Then the About popup is displayed every three hours of continuous use."
