• Learning from history

One of the most important echoes to learn Fidonet history from is probably the former FDBETA echo.

I have almost 1200 messages in the echo from the first that I was allowed to
take part of in February 1999 (a message from mark lewis :) ) to the last one in June 2003 (a message from Jan Vermeulen).

Now, I promised JoHo that I would not make this historical gem available, but if you can convince him otherwise, it's awaiting here. It really is very worthwhile, since this is where much of the FTN discussions took place around the turn of the century.

Awesome, I love following through the history/evolution even the arguement over
who really owns the source to FD. Posession is 99% of the law.

I will email Joaquim. Any reason he would not want it out? If I can get him to agree - maybe a site to site dump.
