  • Hub 3 updated configuration

    Hey Folks, and especially those hanging off of hub 3.

    I've switched Hub 3 over to it's own IP address - I was fortunate enough to get an allocation of IPv4 addresses - so the hub is now on it's own IPv4 address. It's still also available via IPv6 as well.

    I also changed the setup, connections are now through haproxy.

    For everybody, there should be no noticable difference - IE: you dont need to change anything on your side. Do let me know if something is not working as expected.

    It suddenly occurred that there may be a change for some Hub 3 nodes.

    If you collect mail from hub 3, then the address to hub 3 has changed. (It actually changed a while ago, but I dont recall sending out a note to existing nodes). I have been using a CNAME from the old name to the new name, but it is best if folks can update their mailers to use the new DNS address. (The old domain will be retired at some point.)

    Hub 3 is available at n3.z21.bbs.dege.au or net3.fsxnet.nz (the later is a CNAME to the former).
