  • File Areas in FSXNET

    Hello All,

    Is there a way to have filefix send me all files that are listed in FSXNET file areas? My issue is, I get the new files as they come out, (NASA PIC OF THE DAY) but not the older files. Obviously Areafix has a %RESCAN command you can use to get older messages, anything on the file side to do this with files?

    It is possible in some cases. Nodes running htick for files can do this if they are setup to do so. Allfix has a similar feature. 21:4/100 is running htick (I think) so it might work there. Send a command like this to filefix..

    %resend <filename> <filearea>

    You need to know the filename and area the file is in. If the file is found it will be sent to you along with a tic.

    It's not a standard feature but it is supported by some software.
