Was wondering if there was an interfacing program available that would let me link my BBS' chat area with a channel on a Discord server.

link my BBS' chat area with a channel on a Discord server.

There are some CLI clients for using Discord, that under Linux can run in a BBS like a DOOR app. You should know, that Discord, discourages usage of such apps and is free to ban the user that uses them, it's under their User Agreement.

There also BOTs, that link/bridge IRC channels to Discord servers. So, you could make a local IRC server on your machine, use it as your primary chat area and install also a Discord BOT to bridge it to a Discord server ;) Not very easy, but doable.

Always someone to spoil the party. :/

That one would work for me, though not on Mystic, as I never got the Mystic IRC client working. Would have to use my Synchronet board to go down this route.

Currently putting finishing touches to an irc client for mystic. With the
below link you can link discord and irc. I think this is the easiest way to
    do it.

How I would set this up:

    - docker with IRC server (ngircd)
    - docker with Discord/Irc connector (discord-irc)

Connect to the IRC channel with any mystic IRC client. Shameless self plug: iChat 1.4 on bbs.opicron.eu ;).

If you wish to use the IRC client I made I can set up your own password protected channel on my IRC server and run the docker for Discord/IRC for you.

You would only need to run the client on your mystic board.

    oP!
