    And it works really nicely; I currently set it to Last (Value) Messages and entered 10 in the value... that gives the new user 10 msgs in each
    msg base, and I think thats not too overwhelming.

    X days I expect, not sure how many days though, it would depend on how active the echos were I suppose.

    Yea, I was also thinking days would be a good way - but hosting several FTNs, that all have different traffic, I settled on the 10msgs per base. I'll play around with it, and we have 4 options to choose from so I'm sure we'll figure out what works best in the future.

    IMO, anything is better than the full msg bases that a new user had to get thru in previous builds. *I* just learned that [END] took you to the end; I know new users didn't know that little morsel.
