I'm probably just uninformed on how the fsxNet file bases/FTN File Bases work.
What happened was I hadn't setup my fsxNet file bases, ever...
and I recently didso and Mystic tossed all these wonderful files into the fsxNet file bases. ALL versions of mystic, tons of mods and doors and... FILES.
A day later, they are all gone - replaced with yes, the current nodelist and... I can see that they are all the files uploaded YESTERDAY, but...
Is there a way to keep ALL the files forever? Is that not what the point of the fsxNet file bases are supposed to be?
Is there a way to keep them until I can scrape what I want to keep on my board?
I see one setting in the file areas called FileEcho Hub - to not allow pass thru... but I probably just don't understand what this means.
For an example, I'd noticed a raspberry pi compile of syncterm and told a friend to go grab it because he is having issues with syncterm on a pi. And of course it wasn't there...
So; will someone explain all my issues away??? Thanks kindly.

how did it do this? were these files you manually placed in file base dirsthen ran a mutil function to import them?

did you run a maint.ini with [PackFileBases] enabled?

Yes they should stay in your bases unless manually removed via Mystic fileeditor options or if you remove the files from the directories concerned.
The reason I ask about the [PackFileBases] is that I wonder if this logic checking is holding true in your case and if so Mystic data records are beingwiped etc.?
I am suspicious of the files, how they arrived, their Linux permissions andthe way MUTIL *may* be playing a part.

That's a red herring. This is a setting to stop you system (acting as a HUB)from tossing incoming files onwards to another echomail node your linked toas exporting files to. So Don't worry about that setting :)
