Back in a previous version of Mystic, I was able to log the user/password attempts and enter those user names (99% was ROOT) into the BAD USERNAME database. I use that along with IP addresses to help keep my system secure. I have a CLOSED SYSTEM running on a VDI that is on port 23 so I can keep my BBS on a different port open and less likely to be hacked.
I could also watch them try to hack into a shell with the simple "enable" "sh" etc.
Was that removed? Was it due to "laws" or just because?
If it wasn't what LOG mode do I need to re-enable that again?
Thanks!
