• Ansi Lightbars scrolling

From niter3@21:1/199 to All on Fri Nov 25 22:47:55 2022
So, might be hard to explain but how do you do the following.

I have an ansi, and I have a ton of content in lightbar menus. I want a way to only show 5 at a time and allow scrolling.

    How can I do this?

... It said "insert disk #3", but only two will fit...

Just following up on this. To put it another way, how do you make a scrollable menu using lightbars where you have a starting point and a ending point on the ansi. This way you can have a lot of content to pick from, but it will stay within it's areas of the ansi.

The example below shows only three items, but as you press the arrow key down you will continue to see item 4, item 5, etc...

    Hope this makes sense

    [-----------]
    [ item 1 ]
    [ item 2 ]
    [ item 3 ]
    [-----------]

That would require you writing and using a script to run the menu. The Lightbar Menu, even grid only allows you to decide
where to place the lightbar menu entries. (as far as I've ever been aware). You can write a script to present your menu options over an ANSI and make them scroll to show more.

You're referring to an MPL correct?

... WOMAN.ZIP - Great program but no documentation

Correct. I had used a number of them on my login and account creation sections of my BBS. Planned on using more of them once I get the BBS back up at a later date.
