I'm in the process of adding new file areas to my BBS. When I add a new fi area EX. Door Games to my Local Files Section the "Door Games" area also g added to all the file groups like fsxNet, Retronet, etc. Is there a settin missing?
If I wanted users to access a specific base within a specific group, I needed to add the user security level (e.g. s#) and a file group
specifier (e.g. z#). So if I wanted standard users to access a file base which was associated with group 4, then 's10z4' is the descriptor I
needed to use. The file base should then be listed under group 4 only.
My bad. I had the wrong ZONE number for the local file area. DUH.Hapy you got it working. I was banging my head on the desk when this happened to me too. Now I will never forget =)
Usually is something simple that I overlook.
Thanks Guys!Welcome!
