Hi! there is a way to configure Mystic with dial-up server
    connection?

Not natively anymore. What I did was run SEXPOTS which will answer a modem and then connect it to telnet.

I had it running under Windows and now it's running on my Pi:

    http://wiki.synchro.net/util:sexpots

There are other ways of doing this, but this was the easiest way I could
    think of.

When I was running a Dialup node I did the same thing, I ran SEXPOTS in WIndows and had it go to my Login Menu which housed all of my BBS' in a menu sort of like a Matrix login..

Ok guys, but if SEXPOTS it is a Synchronet app and for windows, how can I use it for my Mystic board that is mounted on a Raspberry Pi4?
There is it something similar for Linux/Raspberry Pi.

    Thanks for your help :)

Yup, I'm using it on my Pi now. I had to compile Synchronet to get the
binary I'm using and then plugged a USB to serial adapter into the Pi which came up as /dev/ttyUSB0 and then plugged a USRobotics modem into that.

I run this command to get SEXPOTS to initialize the modem and start waiting for calls:

    ./sexpots -com /dev/ttyUSB0 -baud 19200 -port 2323

Your welcome to try the binary I've compiled. It was compiled on my Pi 4:

    https://drive.google.com/file/d/1y3Hqoi0MtOiBRa2akKCrnF5XaJ5Qhdfp/

Otherwise you can follow the instructions here to compile Synchronet yourself and then grab the sexpots binary:

    http://wiki.synchro.net/howto:raspbian_install

For me it's more of a novelty to have this up and running, I don't expect (many people|anybody) to actually use it. I'm running it over a voip line which does work, but not as well as a traditional POTS line would.

I get OK on my native USB (win)modem but an error with that command on the US Robotics modem.

It still works and answers calls, my guess is that the USR doesn't support caller ID.

    You're very welcome!

    From where are you calling?

    I'm in Sweden.

It's always nice when people add modems to their systems! =)

I'm using mgetty + a Telnet script here, although I haven't really advertised the dial-up connectivity as it's on my home phone, fearing that people will call in the middle of the night and wake me up. :-O

Maybe a separate line in the future... =)

The winmodem didn't work on my Pi, I used that when I has my Intel NUC up and going. I had to get a serial to USB converter for the Pi (which comes up as ttyUSB0) and then I plug my USRobotics modem into that.

    Incorrect baud rate?

IE: The answering system is OK, given that you can send and read the response from the modem.

Perhaps the other end is talking at he wrong speed to their modem?
