Is there an update to Daryl Perry's InterBBS oneliners?? Since updating
to A47 it boots but I can't view the liners. I can add with no
problem.. I'm at a loss
Hello
One make sure you have python installed if you have not already, then make sure python2 if picked as the one to use.
for linux it would be:
One would be python --version
and my sure it is set in mystic, mystic/configuration/general settings/
python2 library. mine show /usr/bin/python2.
I'm guessing windows would be c:\python2
I just went trough 4 versions and 3 of the four were fine.
Thanks...
No, that wasn't it, Python is running properly.. The software is just
not finding the messages.. I will keep trying.. LOL
And you have it set for the right message DAT file, like mime is

Yes, it was working fine, everything showed up fine.. After updating to A47 the V function doesn't work.. Just strange..
Its because Mystic uses a different ANSI viewer and a command within the MPL needs to be changed to the new syntax that Mystic uses; I also
believe I had to create an accompanying .ini file to go with the
template.
When you press V, mystic displays the scrollable info in an ansi
template; and that system and command has changed in a47.
I sent you my updated mrc_edit, and can pull the interbbbs one - but it
is easy once you understand whats going on... I'd have to grab examples
to post here as I did this some months ago. But its the ansi viewer command and new .ini file that goes with thatever template you're using.

Strange, I'm running the latest linux release with no troubles.
It's weird, it all is set correctly, in fact it runs when I call it. I
get the menu and can add to it, I just can't view the liners.. Not sure what is causing the issue. I am looking into the python27.dll file in
the upgrade docs it says to leave both the settings blank in the general settings, but it also says if blank settings don't work then set them so
I will try that.. Thanks for the tip.. I will post back if it works..
First thing to do is review the whatsnew.txt for updates that would have changed the code, like the way variables are handled and set. Other than that my python2 line is:
Python2 Library /usr/lib/x86 64-linux-gnu/libpython2.7.so.1.0
So full path and names which did make a difference, it's what made
python2 work on my A47 Ubuntu system.
