Hello.
When i try to write a netmail to a node, and type in the netmail adress like 2:31/310 (fidonet Vienna) then mystic shows me two found entries in the nodelist, but would allow me to send to that address.
The address is shown in the two results, but every time i type it in, it do again a search instead of using that address.
Can someone help?
What option are you using to call up the nodelist search tool?I just press "p" in the message menu with a netmail base selected.
Are you posting to a netmail message base which involves
1) saying the name you are sending 'to'
2) entering the netmail address / looking it up by using a persons name
.. or are you just using the nodelist browser option from the mystic message menu?
Press "p" and then enter "Areafix" as Name and then "21:1/100" as Netmail address. But instead of asking me if i want to send to that node, it
shows me the search result.
So when I do this it will show the result but then ask is this theYes, thatäs what i would expect, but that question does not show up.
address yes/no and I say yes and then carry on.
Do you have a nodelist compiled in your mystic setup? In other words if you use the nodelist browser and look up my surname 'hayton' do you seeYes they show up. Nodelist for fsxnet and fidonet are compiled and show up in the search here and in the nodebrowser.
me pop up with a few Zone 21 listings or nothing?
The other question is what is your setting in mystic -cfg > config > message settings > force NL lookup?

My config says "Force NL match" is No.
Thanks for your help Avon.
So can you double check the netmail base you are trying to post to isI double checked and basetype is netmail.
set as a base type=netmail and that you ACS settings do allow your you
as a logged in user to be able to read and post.
Also, check export to is set to 0 nodesChecked and true, no node is set.
Also confirm what net address you have set for the base.21:1/218 is my Nodeaddress set in here.
Let's start with those..
I double checked and basetype is netmail.
I am logged in as Sysop with s255. read is s10g1 read and post s20g1 and Sysop ACS is s255g1.
Also, check export to is set to 0 nodesChecked and true, no node is set.

Hmm pondering some more... are you saying when you enter the address 2:31/310 Mystic then displays this result twice?Yes, that also irritated me.
So you see the same line with the search results entered twice?
I'm picking yes to this.
If yes, head to /mystic/data/nodelist and check that file, chances areHeureka, it works.
you will find the nodelist results have been compiled twice there.
if yes, delete this file, run merge nodelist function once manually.
check the nodelist file again, if all looks fine then try testing
nodelist posting again.
Heureka, it works.
I used the maint.ini from your videos and there, the nodelist import is twice for the list because one lower case and one uppercase. So, that
list is imported twice. Seems that mystics isn't case sensitive in this thing.
