  • Been a bit busy

    Hi all

    I've been a bit busy the last few days, and haven't really been on the
    bbs at all.

    Good news, I have a new baby boy to look after :) Wife and son are still
    in hospital, but may be home tomorrow, but I imagine I will still be a
    bit time poor as we figure out how to look after him and so on.

    I'm hoping this one makes it out on fsxnet too, strangly i didn't get the
    last talisman post from fsxnet on this BBS but did to synchronet.

    Assuming it makes it out, Angrylarry, did you get my email about the tic
    file issue?

    In case you didn't, I just mentioned that it might be better to have full
    paths in postie.toml in the main section, and probably in the file area sections. I don't think that's the problem this time though.

    I'm thinking it might be a case sensitivity issue as tiny pointed out
    Postie does expect the password in the tic file to match the case of the
    one in the config. I've changed it to be case insensitive and will be in
    the next update, if not could you email a copy of the tic file that's
    causing the issue? no need for the actual file, just the .tic.

    WOW! Congratulations. I understand being time poor as I have six kids of
    my own. No rush on the below, I will code a solution around it as needed.

    It doesn't appear to be a case issue but I will work out if it's the 'Pw' rather than 'pw' that's in the TICs for the password. May just be a
    change to look for one and then the other if 'pw' isn't found. Again, not
    rush. Go be with the family.

    Congrats, APAM!! What an awesome gift, I hope you and the misses are doing great and enj0ying your time with the new one... get ready for some sleepless nights ahead, but I'm certain it'll be fully w0rth it.

    Awesome news! Congrats.

    I think you have 3 months before you are really time poor :) (New borns are blobs that eat poop and sleep - its once they realise that they are out of the womb and everytime they make a noise somebody comes running do they chew up your time. :)

    If you want a challenge, have another one in two years ;)
