and automate everythign, and maybe *then* pay for a better service. Or maybe even install a server on my own computer do the streaming out my

I run my own Icecast server at home and serve it up to the world via a public static IP. I don't have any experience in using another service
but am interested to hear others thoughts and views on this :)
What software is needed/you're using for the Icecast server? It's a tremendous help if you give me hints on how to stream directly from my computer. Also, I'm guessing I'm going to need a web server to give the stream a placeholder for potential listeners to land on and click on
some kind of "Play" button to start listening, right?
