I currently rent an apartment, but I had a house that I sold about 4
years ago, and I don't really like yard work. Now with house prices
crazy high, I'm not sure I'll be able to easily afford a new house any time soon, unless the market crashes and prices come down.
You too. It's Saturday morning here for me right now, and I got up to check messages & things on my BBS. My wife and I have reservations for dinner this evening at a restaurant that's on the top floor of a
building downtown with great views - we're looking forward to it.

Sunday lunchtime here as I type, my wife and I went out for coffee this morning, it's pouring with rain now and I would like to do some more
stuff outside but instead have been scheduling music for totalfm.nz and *may* take a couple of wool bags full of green waste to the local landfill.

As I've got older I think I enjoy gardening/yard work more than I did but I think that's more to do with how different it is to the desk/screen based stuff I do during the working week.
I still need to be in the mood to do the outside stuff but when I am, it feels mostly OK to do and rewarding to see some stuff down around the property.
We have a reasonable about of buses/trees etc. around our place so as we come into Spring it's usually a time where there's plenty to do if I opt to do it ;-)

I can't hear my wife asking me to do things around the house, and I thought my car stereo was sounding muffled....
I enjoy watching the rain. It rained here a bit on Friday, and it was a fairly heavy rain. I was working from home, and I liked that we got
some significant rain after it has been fairly dry here for a while.
It's been super dry here for ages so nice to see some rain also.
I must be getting older as I never used to think this way :)
