    So...

    Quick poll, who else keeps closing what they are working on outside of this environment for seeing a misspelling and hitting Ctrl+W?

    The muscle memory built so fast with my 60% keyboard that I'm still feeling with my pinky for the shift key to use the arrow keys on this 75% even though I just have the keys now!

    What's CTRL-W for?

    When you're typing a word into a reply using Mystic (with Spell Check turned on) and it's mis-spelt, the editor turns the word red. If you place the cursor on it and press ctrl-W you get a pop up dialogue that offers (most times) the correct spelling of the word you can choose and drop in to replace the error.

    I have a strong ctrl-W muscle memory :)

    I sometimes think about it when I'm typing up my DND notes for the week. Then I remember F7 :D

    NFI... got to ask what is ctl-w doing for you? I don't recall it pre windoze where it became close window off hand...

    So in MysticBBS when you have the spell check on you get flagged words in an off color. Mine are stock so they are red.
    You just get the cursor on them them and ctrl+w and you get a pop up list for words to choose from in the dictionary file.

    It becomes somewhat reflexive if that's how your system works as you can imagine.

    Huh. Seeing as it only has one use case.. not so on board, still if thats what you use for long enough, I guess so. Might be more of an age thing but wordstar ctl-k sequences seem more ubiquitous. They mostly refuse to die.
