God, I am old!! I lived through all of that, including Buster Brown
shoes (Not sure if they were available on the other side of the
world)... Oh and don't forget the little 6oz I think milk containers at school!

but I do recall after school drinks at home with milk and a flavoring called Quic. There was chocolate, banana and strawberry flavors.

With all of the science going into athletic nutritional supplements, it was interesting seeing bike racers drinking whole milk with Carnation Instant Breakfast mixed in.
Carnation Instant Breakfast was this concoction from when I was growing
up that was a mixture of sugar, protein, chocolate flavoring and
vitamins. Circa 1977.
