    Hey all,

I just got an Nvidia Jetson Nano 2GB, and am looking forward to trying it
out. I don't intend to mine cryptocurrencies, but as that's definitely an application it's suited for, I though I'd ask here if anyone's had any experience with one.

    Thanks!
    Jeff.

    Hi Jeff,

Yes I have one. Originally I intended to do some simple AI on it, like processing a stream of video and looking for anomalies rather than straight motion detection. Still haven`t gotten round to it though but I have been using to decode and reencode a video stream from a raspberry pi (mp4 -> mjpeg) which it can do on the GPU far more efficiently than the pi can do.

You can buy stackable cases so if you wanted to make a little mining cluster that`s an option. How good the hashrate would be I have no idea though.

    Cheers,

    pokeswithastick

I kinda want to do some image recognition with it, but haven't set it up yet. Ideally, I'd like it headless and without a GUI, but I'm not sure yet what
    the options are.

The nVidia jetpack SDK is a complete Ubuntu based system that runs quite happily headless. I then installed xrdp so I can remote in from a windows machine via mstsc.exe.
