Have you taken a look at Keybase.io yet?

Yes but to be honest I have done little with it so far. I think it's a very good idea and have been following the development of it for about 8-10 months now. You?

Yes, I have installed the app on both my phone and laptop. My son and I use the chat feature. When I first heard about the project, some of my
co-workers and I installed and "followed" each other but I have not done anymore with it since then. One of the areas that I believe would be cool would be integrating that product into other applications which would provide the benefit of encryption without a lot of development being required on the part of the application. For example if it were possible to integrate keybase.io's functionality into a BBS client so that netmail could be encrypted, I think that would be cool. Or another example would be
integration into existing email clients. I was looking at a keybase plugin
for the Chrome browser the other day and it appears that this might have been the beginnings of this. Maybe apam might be able to look at this possibility for his new bbs client (which I have yet to try).

We're thinking the same thing. I have some ideas also along the lines you mentioned so perhaps we can test some stuff together? Interested?
