What am I missing?
I replied to the same area I see others in - was testing ANSI and
ASCII version to see if either would show up -- did notice they
do not, of course.
Above my message are other ads, and some WX reports.
What I see are mostly Wx reports, new file announcements, and traffic stats. Granted, nearly 100% of that is useless in my humble opinion, but.... why would there be an echo specifically titled "BBS Ads" if
they (BBS ads) were meant to be in this echo?

so now I am lost .. I was posting a BBS ad in the BBS ad section
and you said it wasn't the proper section?
You weren't posting a BBS ad in the BBS ad echo. You were posting it in *THIS* echo, which is entitled "Automated Robot Posts". There is a different echo entitled "BBS Ads".
What's so hard to understand here?

So you are THE only one who has ever pointed that out .. when I
exit this email I see posts for Prison BBS / Mystic Pi Year of
the Rabbit / Leisure Time .. all BBS ads. Over and over and over
.. did you also point it out to them as well?
I do not see a specific BBS folder .. and I'm still waiting for
the hosts to find out why my address isn't in the nodelist. That
could be where all the issues arise from ..

What was "hard to understand" was your blatantly vague first post
with a long ascii arrow pointing over here -----------> ... meant
nothing to me without an image or proper link.
I visited https://fsxnet.nz/fsxnet/echomail and did see the
FSX_ADS area, so I'll update my end and start practice posting
there once my code is working properly.
No reply needed.... just originally wanted to point you to the correct echo for BBS Ads, but not sure how we got so far off track. Good luck.

No, I appreciate the heads up ..
I've been online since like 2018 and still having issues ever
since the A.48 update.
My AreaFix is in limbo as well - I pushed
that as soon as you pointed it out. I'm not in the nodelists, and
we are still trying to figure that out (I was dropped last year I
am guessing when I swapped from Cable to Fiber and was offline
for like 3 weeks or 4.
Can't wait to have the proper updates -- makes a lot of sense on
why I see things on my end the way I do (errors I mean).
When you're going to be offline like that, it's considered proper to let your Hub know prior to it happening. Things can be put on hold and then resumed when you get back. If you just disappear and can't be contacted.... well...
What updates are you referring to?
Have you communicated with your Hub, and/or Avon, about getting the nodelisting corrected/updated? Doesn't seem like it would be very difficult to do. You can't really do Areafix stuff to connect with
echos until that is all established.
