    Hello All,

    Last question for now.. Just wondering a bit about the "ReTear" option. Does this only affect locally created mail? Or will it also retear any mail that passes through the system?

    With that asked, what are the best settings for for fmail with Golded? At the moment, I'm using "usepid yes" in Golded, and using the "ReTear yes" along with
    "Update text after Scan." But I don't know if this would be right when one would actually have other links that pass their own mail through mine.

    'ReTear' only applies to messages FMail scans from the messagebase.

    Passing mail is not affected, by those settings. But if you want to make sure, just do some testing. ;)

    that should be fine... if you do not use the retear option, you'd have a TID line and the user's tear lines would be left to say what they want to say...

    altering the tear line of mail passing through is generally viewed as a major BadThing<tm> just like altering any other part of the message... only the two address fields in the header, the seenby and path lines may be altered...
