    Hello Janis!

So should things now be back up running with the old 160G SATA harddisk again, and then must the new 1.5TB harrdisk wait until Benny have figured out why it not like to have its /dev files installed correct and is missing.
The old router is gone to service and perhaps to be upgraded with a new motherboard and maybe a new faster cpu and more rams.

Tne will my adsl boradband by upgraded at the end of this week too.

    Take care,
    Gert

It maybe tried out to make a new reserve router by the old when it comes return
from service and perhaps with new motherboard and a new better faster cpu on it. So can this one with its 80G SATA hd been tried out to install gentoo with 11.0 and kernel 2.6.38/39 on it and see if this too will happen on this and maybe if this get up running te new router can be tried out to reinstall linux on the 1.5TB.
I have never before seen it with the other times of installatoins.

There is nothing in it at all?

Only one little file named null, all other files is missing.

And this is not the only thing there is happen me while af end og this week will my isp upgrade my adsl/broadband line from 10/1 to 20/5 and without no more cost for me, I could get 50/10 but it cost a bit more than the other.
With upgrade comes too a change of some component for use, a homebox there is future made to it can handle up to 100/100 in speed. :)

Yes there shall be more in the /dev directory, but just here today heard from the computer dealer where I took my old router pc to, that the error on it not was more that a bad ram block in it, but now is the upgrade it with a new better motherboard and better cpu + 4G rams. I then think I will buy it 2 extra
netcards, and it will not cost me more than it is been a gift from my womans works cheaif like to give me in a present as he like me very well as his best freelance worker and computer specialist.
I will drive away to my woman for some good be toghether for the evening and night and she like it very much that I is there by the morning and drive her to
the train station while I take home to myself.

Yes it is, but my internet connection is a professionel and business setup, where is it was a private line will it be by 10/10 20/20 30/30 50/50 100/100. The wayy it too is done is that I have one main ip address and then have a deal
with 5 ip adresses for WAN of my WAN hostnames.
