Nice! I see it has most of the tools too :) I had started writing my own.

Whatever method is easiest for you. Just let me know.

    Got it! Thanks.

I even did a quick test and it seemed to work the way it should.

Now I may have one for you...

I was reading through some old messages in this area and noticed back in January you were looking for a program named frequ. That MAY have been something I threw together for Janis but was never released to the general public. Can you describe what the program was supposed to do?

    Is that FREQ-U?

Janis sent me a copy of that years ago and I was running it with binkd at one time but I lost the archive she sent me.

Back in January I scrubbed the nodelist looking for the author or BBS name and found your node in there so I freq'd files from your node and found FREQ-U.ZIP and FU-W32.ZIP in there and freq'd those also so I have them here in the filebase now.. :)

    Yep. That's the one!

Back story... That program started out as part of my BinkP mailer. Janis mentioned that she was having trouble finding something to process FREQs that ran under Linux, so I stole a couple subroutines from the mailer and wrote one or two to handle the command line stuff and the SRIF file. The compiler I was using was able to make Windows, Linux, and Mac binaries all from the same code so it was easy to build all three once I had the Windows code debugged.

Cool. You've got them all then. I never even bothered to compile it for the MAC because I didn't have the hardware to test it on.

That's nice and easy to setup and use utility to honour file requests with binkd.

    Thank you for that. :)

32 bit version of the Squish mail tosser.

Looking in my files DB I found the latest version as squ111r2.zip containing :

That is the 32bit DOS archive. squish_n.zip is 32bit Win95/WinNT.

That file along with Fred's FREQ-U would make good additions to your file collection. Freq-u is available as FREQ-U.ZIP for linux and FU_W32.ZIP for windows.

If you like I can binkp those over to you if you would like to have a look, let me know.
