I've also lost some family members to cancer and my wife's dad
has also been diagnosed with cancer and it's unsure how much
time he has left...
I doubt any family has escaped that scourge.
I don't want to sound unsympathetic, but is there a chance that
this archive and the keygens he collected, can be saved somehow
and passed to someone else from the scene or to archive.org or
sth. like that?
I have many of the files that were on his site
but I don't have the registration key generators.
But, I wouldn't have had the funds to purchase them.
I guess many of the files can be found either elsewhere or via archive.org.
And that's the question: Who has/owns them now and is it possible to forward them or buy them from someone? And what would be the price?
Could this price be paid by someone who continues to sell
registrations or could it be some kind of "crowdfunding"?

The files are fine, but without the registration key generators, the programs are worthless.

I have no idea. Doug had all of them, and with the site now gone, I haven't seen any information on it...and I'd be very surprised if they
were still available.
