Hey... sounds like that might be it! I remember trying a couple of similar products before I settled on one. But the author's name sounds unfamiliar. Anyway.... it was really handy even if i just needed 250k ramdrive on the 286.
When I moved to a 386 machine, and 4 meg ram, a larger ramdrive was great when
viewing .ZIP contents and storing temporary files during the day.

I'm rather disappointed that modern WinMe and XP don't feature ramdrive capability. I already have /tmp and /tmp/000 folders where I unpack zips and look at certain downloads - but I don't necessarily need to keep all the stuff in there - I just don't always remember to clean up those directories even if I
think I'll keep a few things for a week or 2 longer.

It's possible to install a ramdrive in Win2K. The technique probably works in XP and Win2003 too. You have to download a small driver though. http://support.microsoft.com/support/kb/articles/Q257/4/05.ASP
