• Autocreate message

From Bill Gordon@1:123/22 to All on Wed Jul 21 13:49:10 2004
I've been told that there is a way to auto-create a message with Fastecho.

I want to be able to post a BBS ad every day, like my friend does with his Synchronet BBS - he says it is a 'built-in' feature.

Anyone familiar with this ability in FE?

Put in command line: feutil post ?

    Example:

feutil post yourfile.txt AREATAG -from "Your Name" -subj "bla bla"

Remember that ad areas are usually limited to one post/week, post
more than this doesn't help, and annoy (I do send mine once/month,
but think better get users from out of current BBS scene)

    are you talking about this?

    7.9 - FEUTIL Post
    -----------

This powerful feature provides a convenient way to post a text file
in any your configured area: EchoMail/Local and NetMail. It may be use-
ful in several occasions, for example to insert documents manually in-
side your areas or to periodically post files or statistics by means
of batch files called automatically from your mailer's external events.
