    Hello All,

I wanted to send a Quicktime .MOV file to a point of mine...
never got it ... after checking logs I found out he considered it a BAD echomail packet...

I guess my points need to use .Z(ip) more often to get their attachments come thru :(

Either that or .Arj, .Lzh, .Rar, etc, etc. ;)

I don't particularly like .Mov or .Rm movies and in fact no longer have players
for them. The .Mpg or .Avi types are a lot better, especially the DivX .Avi movies; wonderful compression. I can't run the latest DivX 4.1x formats, though, as I only have a P-90. Imagine that: you need PII/III-450's now, just to run video codecs. :(

    Cheers,
    Paul.

More likely, a bad ARCmail packet.

    filename.MO*

    :)

Try restricting FE to only accept MO0-9 (it's in there somewere)

and hopefully "unique" naming...or they become .AR1 ... or stay in a badwazoo.001 file...

even my celeron 400 couldn't handle all divx content right...
needed a 1ghz athlon... it all depends on how good one could "encode" in divx... a "nemo"-divx-codec package works quite good ... there isn't *1* divx codec around... a lot of "tweaks" are running around...
