    [..]

I'm not too sure, as I don't use FE to route/pack netmail but here's a coupla things that I've spotted that *might* be the cause .....

    Route.fe is below.

    -!-
    ; FidoNet
    [..]
    ROUTE-TO 2:2503/0 2:2503/*
    ^^^^^^^^
    Perhaps this should be 2:2503/*.*

    [..]
    ROUTE-TO 2:252/666 2:440/666.* 2:440/666
    ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
Perhaps these two are telling FE to do
the same thing and therefore causing
    confusion?
    [..]
    Ideas?

That's all I can think of.

    Regards,
    Martin

    ROUTE-TO 2:2503/0 2:2503/*
    ^^^^^^^^
    Perhaps this should be 2:2503/*.*

    * is ok, ? can also be used, ex.: Route-to 2:335/533 2:33/* 2:33?/*

    ROUTE-TO 2:252/666 2:440/666.* 2:440/666

Yes, it's redundant... but I don't know what is wrong with the route.

I use fe pack for email/ftp-links (not for those that calls directly):

    Route-to 1:396/1 1:* 2:* 5:* 6:*
    Route-to 2:244/1111 2:24/* 2:24?/* 2:24??/*

    Route-to 2:333/805 2:333/*
    Route-to 2:346/3 2:34/* 2:34?/*
    Route-to 3:774/605 3:*
    Route-to 4:900/525 4:*

Every time a FASTECHO PACK -RROUTE.FE is performed I get the
    following netmail;

I'm no great routing king, but if it were me suffering... then I'd make sure that all the ROUTE-TO _target_ addresses exist in the FE node manager.

Else, try commenting-out the "NO-ROUTE LISTED" and see what happens. (It seems
to want to negate the effect of the previous ROUTE-TOs.<shrug>)

    Cheers,
    Paul.

The one that bugs me is that I'm a FrontDoor user, but every so often, Fastecho
will create a packet netmail in my outbound with an extension like *.IUT. This
happens once about every full moon, with no apparent rhyme or reason.
