    What Republicans call a government shutdown -

    "Not really a shutdown, more of a slowdown."
    - U.S. Senator Marco Rubio

    "A partial temporary suspension of non-essential government functions."
    - U.S. Senator Ted Cruz

    "Very excited" and "People will be very grateful."
    - U.S. Representative Michele Bachmann

    Oh, well. Some people never learn. :'(
