Okay.. I'm not through with all the posts (35 of 90 I think) but I just cant help myself... THe reason for all the Napster litigation is that the world is run by profiteering gluttons... Most people in this world think that money is 1) a show of power 2) a sign of success and 3) makes them better than everyone else. I, personally, hate the idea of money, but it is kind of necessary for me o survive.. (I also hate the idea of me farming and shooting Bambi's mom...)

And on a side note... Why are all these people attacking Napster, but ignoring Gnutella? I personally prefer that network... MP3s, DivX, Videos, Proggies, Documents, books... All at the click of a mouse, so to speak... And, with much more availible data... Not that _I_ am a pirate... O:-)

Okay, I've had my two cents worth.. noe if I could judt read this on *my* board, but that's another post for another area...

The litigation is more about the fact that "someone has to pay the bills". That's why you notice there aren't any good (if any were good) free internet services anymore, and why MOST companies don't release source code, because they don't want to take the chance that everyone will use it and no one will pay for it. No one wants to pay for anything, but no one wants to loose money, those too facts are in opposition to a working economy.
