Hi Carol,
Hi folks, cataract surgery before terribly long. Hard to BBS just now but alive and well!
You'll appreciate being able to see again. I had my eyes done in 2020;
my vision is now 20/25. Decided a couple of years ago that the bother of putting on, taking off reading glasses was a bother so went back to progressive bifocals with the top part being basically plain glass.
We're travelling again, went to a baseball game today with our younger daughter and her two boys. First major league game I've been to since
before I met Steve. We've had some good food on the this trip, from a
class reunion to a ham radio/rv rally to the Dayton Hamvention to one of
our favorite Mexican places in southern AZ. More to come as we head
north tomorrow and home next month. Stopped at a Buc-ees in Amarillo and split a chopped brisket sandwich. I don't care for red bbq sauce (chain doesn't make them unsauced) but the meat was pretty good for a large
volume chain place. Found out that the pulled pork sandwich they do has
a mustard based (South Carolina bbq) sauce; we prefer the eastern NC
vinegar based sauce.
Good to hear from you again, hope all goes well with the cataract
surgery.
