• Plan to (try to) rebuild the Temple

Moshe Feiglin will, if elected Prime Minister of Israel,
try to rebuild the Temple, as part of the process of
Israel's redemption. The problem is that Israel rejected
the kinsman redeemer, Jesus Christ, and will seek redemption
through a counterfeit messiah, the Beast who will sit in
the temple, claiming to be god, and demanding to be worshipped
    as god.

Feiglin: If I were PM, I'd rebuild the Temple
    By MATTHEW WAGNER

Moshe Feiglin, head of Manhigut Yehudit (Jewish Leadership Movement) said
last week that if he was elected prime minister, he would try to rebuild
    the destroyed Temple in Jerusalem.

"I don't know if I will have the merit of doing something that is the aspiration of every Jew," said Feiglin. "But if I become prime minister
I will take away control over the Temple Mount from the Wakf [the Islamic trust] and reinstate Jewish sovereignty over the entire mount and, hopefully, rebuild the Temple."

Right! If he tries that without a sound treaty with the Palestinians -- a treaty which we both know is even in the works now -- he will have a major war on his hands which will make the current Intifada look like child's play.
Mount Moriah is now considered the third most holiest site in Islam, after Mecca and Medina, and any attempt to build the temple will be met with force and violence by the Muslims. Remember when Sharon took his stroll on the
Temple Mount a number of years ago? We all know what occurred after that.

Excellent article. However, I recently ran across something
that might be of interest to you and all readers. It may not
be necessary for a third temple to be built. And there does
not seem to be anything in scripture saying a third temple
must be built. Separate post on the topic on the way. Just
    gotta refind that url...
