    We had a neighborhood cat that belonged to one owner, but was an outdoor cat. Another neighbor started feeding him, not knowing who he belonged
    to, decided he liked the new house better, and moved in. Fickle, they are.

    Maybe he got better food.

    My Sister has a cat like that. Besides food, she got him a heated bed to sleep in on those cold, Winter nights. Oddly enough, despite the grand treatment, it won't go into the house or let her pet it.
