    No clue at all about the text, and numbers? You must be
    getting old then! ;-) It certainly doesn't ring a bell
    for me at first glance...

    Well.. I enventually figured it out. They were serial numbers
    of some books that I had put out. I was recording what was
    still on the shelves. But that was a LONG time ago, and the
    info is outdated.

    Renfrew & Hastings is 90% of the way out of the city heading east -- not a pleasant area to live in if you don't like gangs & drugs. . . but rents are cheap. . .relatively speaking. . . to parts of the city that aren't so scary.

    Renfrew & Hastings is 90% of the way out of the city heading east -- not a pleasant area to live in if you don't like gangs & drugs. . . but rents are cheap. . .relatively speaking. . . to parts of the city that aren't so scary.

    Renfrew and Hastings is that corner with the main entrance to the PNE, I know it well.

    I grew up just south of there around Broadway between Renfrew and Naniamo. I haven't been to Vancouver in years now but I love that city and Stanley Park and the beaches around there.

    That was many years ago and I never even thought about gangs or drugs back then. Times change of course.

    We are going to Vancouver for a few days in June or July.
