I?ve had the (mis)fortune to be security for quite a few celebs. Their quirks are what make them interesting. One rich American I?ve had as a client three times now just walks. Every door must be open when he gets there, including elevators etc. If it isn?t he walks into it and the person who was supposed to open it gets fired.

I?ve had the (mis)fortune to be security for quite a few celebs. Their quirks are what make them interesting. One rich American I?ve had as a client three times now just walks. This particular one though is a motivational speaker. His one event in Moscow, he charged $5000 per person and filled a 25000 seat auditorium. One event. 6 hours. $125 million. He can certainly afford to hire people to open doors for him.

Discretion is to be appreciated and understood. But a publicly noticeable thing that anyone can witness like opening doors is probably common for many celebs.

On one job, I had to fly from Ottawa to New York at Harris Corp for at least 3-day stay, but a few hours later my boss called to tell me he needed me back on the next flight. The incident pissed me off a bit, but Harris Corp had a limousine at the ready and the chauffeur fellow opened all the doors (building doors too) for me.

Australia ..on tour.
