• v7 nodelist query

From Richard Webb@1:116/901 to all on Sun Nov 21 16:22:19 2010
    Hello all!

WAs recently endeavoring to help a colleague troubleshoot a
nodelist problem. IN so doing I ended up looking at the v7
    nodelist files that tbbsnc creates.
For those who might not know, tbbsnc is the freeware version of xlaxnode which I use as my nodelist compiler.

Also note that my system clock is set to utc, and nodediffs
arrive here SAturday UTC and are compiled immediately upon
    arrival.
I also compile a pvtlist into the master nodelist. We of
course process the nodediff with xlaxdiff and then run
    tbbsnc.
So, note the differing time stamps on the 3 usual v7
    nodelist files.

    NODEX.DAT 11-20-10 5:51a
    NODEX.NDX 11-21-10 1:12a
    SYSOP.NDX 11-21-10 3:53p

Using of course binkleyterm, TImed of course as reader,
squish as mail processor, and netmgr.

Would anything else be writing to these files?

    Regards,
    Richard

I sure wouldn't either, and I haven't noticed that problem
since then. Just a curiosity, one of those <huh, say what>
    things.
