Just out of curiosity, when do you update your mailer to the latest official nodelist?

I was surprised to see that yours are one of a few remaining systems still calling my system on the old 24554 port rather than on the new IBN:24555 as listed in the latest nodelist.

I have no custom settings for your nodes in my binkd at this point. Root-domain
binkp.net is used and binkp.net srv records seems to be updated to day 115.

Still my binkd calls port 24554. I wonder why...

I've just been browsing my locally-generated binkd.txt... if your polls are 'keyed' to 2:2/2, then that might explain the behaviour. ;)

    Cheers,
    Paul.

I'm fairly sure that's not the case. His system is calling 2:203/0 as I hope
every other system connected to mine is.

But I think some sysops have hard-coded my system the wrong way, that's probably why a handful of them still calls on the wrong port number.

No big deal really, the default port number will still be working, but it was an interesting change for sure. 8-)

Nope, I was talking about 203/0 and 203/2 which do have flag IBN:24555.

Polls to 2:20/0 go to port 24554 by the nodelist.
