Hi All,

I was curious what everyone is using for a text editor in multimail? Right now I have notepad pop-up but was curious if there was a better editor to use without breaking MultiMail.

I don't think so, mine just launches notepad and really there is not
much you can really do with it. I'm thinking I'll just have it launch my sublime text editor or TextPad. Right now I'm testing out TSE Pro just
to see if it's something I would want to keep using, but honestly I've purchased WAY too many text editors in my life to shell out more money
for another text editor that I'm only going to use for one program. :)

I'll have to see if I can find IIRC as I've never heard of it.

No. It will always use an external text editor.

I'm using Notepad as well. What I really want is a QWK reader that works
native under Mac. I'm using MM under Win7 under Parallels under Mac. ;-)

That should be .mmailrc (a hidden file in your home directory under OS X
IIRC).

If not, look for mmail.rc which is how it is under Windows and DOS and OS/2.

On Linux, it is a "hidden" file. It has a period in front, ie: /home/user/.mmailrc

It is my undersdanding that Mac OSX is based on BSD, similar to Linux/Unix, so look there.

Again, if you can pass the name of the message text file to OpenEdit! on
the command line, then you can use it. You just need to update the
EDITOR statement in the config file for MultiMail. But, let's take this

William has never built binaries for it. AFAICT I am the only one
officially building the .50 binaries of MultiMail.

Which reminds me, I should pull the latest source and refresh those

I do run full screen and use Command = about eight times to make the text bigger.

Interesting... I'm not familiar with hombebrew, but I looked it up. Not sure if it's something

Hey - finally took a few minutes today to do a mail run - it connected
here (I) just fine - went to connect to II and it showed 'connected'
to NetFoss, etc. - that one line - then it disconnected.

Not sure if that helps or not. :-)

Yeah, was having problems with that system so pulling that system
down for a bit to see what the deal is. Right now I just have it
functioning as a UUCP feed for anyone who wants a newsgroups feed.
