• Netrunner failing to download

From Sean Dennis@1:18/200 to James Coyle on Fri Nov 13 01:14:31 2015
    Hi James,

I tried your Windows version of Netrunner to connect to my MBSE system to upload an offline mail packet. Netrunner started to choke immediately,
giving me at least 60 errors in under 15 seconds. I checked my MBSE system
and the logs showed several CRC errors. I'll hunt through my logs to give
to you privately, but it seems Netrunner's file transfer system doesn't like MBSE for some reason.

I tried Qodem and Syncterm (both on the Windows 7 system) and both were able
to successfully upload the packet without problems.

    Just FYI.

Just used the newest NR windows version to upload a 3.49MB file that I placed in the \netrunner\up\ {path} Alt-Q add file to query window. Got no CRC errors at all with zmodem and transfered in 5 seconds. Using windows 7 64-bit.

Thanks please either netmail or mysticbbs@gmail.com if you have any sort of logs.

I test it regularly with Daydream, Mystic, and Synchronet, sometimes transferring hundreds of megabytes without problems... but I've never used MBSE.

One of the things being a software developer: somewhere, someone will always manage to show that things weren't as well tested as you thought. :D

Several of us are using Netrunner with WWIV.
So you have us testing it with it too.
