    Assuming that they both can support FTN or QWK, yes. I am sharing local message areas across three different softwares by doing that. You can set
    up a local ftn zone, or set them up to pull QWK from each other.

    I kinda do this between my Mystic system and my WINServer system, granted
    I use Internet Rex in binkd mode to make this happen.
