I download the linux/intel version on my Mate Linux laptop, now the laptop is an old Apple. I uncompressed the file and trying to run it says:

    No such file or directory

    same with btermcfg

All the files in the archieve are there

I'm not sure I can help you, Sean... but here is some information about how I have it installed here.

    Path to bterm program:
    /home/bbbs/term/bterm
(good distance from main bbbs install <G>)

Command to start bterm in that directory:
    /home/bbbs/term/bterm$ ./btelnet

I've seen some folks talk about starting a virtural box to run linux software on an Apple.. perhaps that might work? I have never tried that though.

    Take care,
    Janis

I've seen that when trying to run a 32 bit application (like BBBS or BTerm) on a 64 bit OS without 32bit support.

All the files in the archieve are there

Did you know that bterm is a copy of bbbs? What I did was copy my bbbs over the old bterm and bcfg4 over the old btermcfg and that's what I use here.

I am just wondering is my Linux install missing a lib. May message Kim direct on it

Ahhh that sounds like the error. I will try the 64bit file as you suggest

    Yep, it does work great.

Maybe b will release a new bbbs and/or bterm one day, but for now that works.

I hope so. 64 bit is the way to go :)
