• maggots as food

From So238@1:278/230 to All on Thu Sep 16 11:48:00 2004
    Hello people,
I am lucky that I can have a large supply of maggots to feed my fish,
and I might not even have to spend any money on food. However, can this
kind of diet be unbalanced? People say that whiteworms for example
(which I assume have similar nutritional value) shouldn't be fed in big quantities.

What type of fish? I wouldn't just feed maggots, you need to give them a varied diet

Good question! Because I haven't started the aquarium yet! Just moved
into area, still saving up. But already found out that some friends can
donate some free maggots and worms...
I may want to take advantage of this by keeping small carnivorous
species (that in fact includes many popular ones like most tetras).
Corys also appreciate it I think.
