chain store (since thisAnyone know a good place to get an aquarium? Either a
is an international echo) or a mail order place. I amlooking into replacing a
shattered tank and want to know about the cheapest placeto get a new one.
-- Dan---
Before I upgraded to my next larger tank, I visited
several of the larger local LFS, and found one that
had prices significantly lower on the exact same tank
(same mfr.) compared to other LFS. (I've since
bought several other tanks & other equipment from
the same store, even though it's considerably farther
from my house than several other LFS.)
I'm near a large city (San Antonio TX) so I have
choices and that might make a difference, but I
would recommend you start by visiting as many
LFS as you can. Sometimes the large chains
charge more than even a small LFS but you won't
know that until you compare prices, taking into
account the fact that with most mail order places
you'll be paying shipping.
You might mention where you live. Someone
here might live in/near the same town and could
give you more focussed advice.
LFS? Live Fish Store?
Holladay, UT here. Basically Salt Lake City.
