Remaining Fry Dead

Between yesterday evening and this morning, I discovered three more dead
fry. This means that all estimated eleven fry have now died.
While this development is discouraging -- and I am not certain why they are dying -- I am consoled by the fact that at least Junior has survived from
these first two spawns, and is doing quite well. He is looking more and more like a mbuna each day, is slowly acquiring his colors, and is eating well.
He now has the twenty-gallon tank to himself again. I cleaned and rearranged his tank this morning, adding more rocks for him.
Junior's mother -- who is in the neighboring twenty-gallon tank -- has also been eating fine, and has been doing a lot of sand-moving the past several days, as she has dug herself a pit under the rocks.
