• Fish Tank Web Cams

From Philip Brown@1:227/300 to ALL on Tue Jun 20 22:01:00 2006
    Hello,

Wanted to start a new thread. Anyone with aquarium's at home or work
with web cameras pointed to them?

My wife and I do, it's a 10 gallon tank with 3 gold fish and we have a
web cam pointed to it all day and evening. We turn the light off at
night and they like the camera, seems always near the camera.

They are getting big, you open the lid and they come running.

We have a web cam and you can find it at http://www.flamingstar.com//bbs/fishcam.html or going to http://www.flamingstar.com and click the link on the right side.

We enjoy it and thought you might too.

    Philip

The problem in germany was the taxe for the transfer.
So I used 28.8k at home (city-taxe) and
6G in the University (no taxe).

My wife and I do, it's a 10 gallon tank with 3 gold fish and we
have a web cam pointed to it all day and evening.

    (4 me and another)

    (a) 1 gallon (US) is 0,3785 m^3
    (b) 1 gallon (UK) is 0,4546 m^3

    Hello,

Try the cam again and let me know what you think.

We enjoy the web cam, and I think the fish do too. They hog the camera.

    Have a good day.

i just did and was redirected (?) (or is it a frames page??) to a no-ip.info site... is this correct? if so, how's 'bout posting a/the real domain name instead of a redirector... i, for one, very much shy away from them/those...

FWIW: i don't get anything other than a white page titled "April's Kitchen Fish
Tank Cam" with a notice that it is online between 6:30 til 22:30 with no indication of what timezone those times are in <<scratching head>>... i don't see any webcam stuff, either :(

    Hello,

I do use a <iframe> in the page, just to get the portion I want without
    the extra stuff.

    http://aprilskitchen.ww.com/

The link above you can go direct.

FWIW: i don't get anything other than a white page titled "April's Kitchen F ML>Tank Cam" with a notice that it is online between 6:30 til 22:30 with no ML>indication of what timezone those times are in <<scratching head>>... i don' ML>see any webcam stuff, either :(

I checked it from my sister in law's and it worked, and have checked it
from dialup and it worked there too.

I'll work on adding camera info and software used. Here is a run down
    on what I use.

Logitech QuickCam IM connected via USB. The web cam software is
from ww.com and captures the image using Logitech's capture program.

The PC is (computer/keyboard/mouse) no monitor is next to the fish tank
and using a wireless card connects to the wireless access point and
onwards to the internet via a cable internet connection. It updates the picture about once a second.

We are in Eastern time zone (gmt -05:00).

Thanks for checking out the cam, might try again and see if you can see
    it.

    Let me know.

    Have a great day.

At your place of employment, have them start a fish tank and put a web
    cam there.

You can also go to http://www.earthcam.com/ and they have a lot of web
cams, places, people, animals and such.
